Functions of the Examinations Cell

The Examinations cell is entrusted with the following functions:
  1. Notifying the schedule and dates of various stages connected with the   examinations. (Examination calendar of the year)
  2. Issue of notification of Examinations Schedule and Fixing the timetable
  3. Question paper setting as per the syllabi, model question papers decided by the Boards of Studies.
  4. Printing of question papers.
  5. Procurement of stationery, Answer Booklets, equipment etc., for the conduct of examinations.
  6. Conduct of 2 mid Semester Examinations in each Semester.
  7. Supply of examination applications to the candidates.
  8. Processing of Examination Applications and printing of Hall Tickets.
  9. Preparation of semester wise nominal rolls.
  10. Preparation of answer scripts (Removing the upper part of the Answer Booklet) for valuation.
  11. Coding the answer booklets
  12. Undertaking valuation of Answer Scripts. Scrutiny of Answer Scripts.
  13. Verification of CIA and External(Theory &Practical) posting of the marks
  14. Processing of marks and prepare the list of candidates for moderation(only for PG)
  15. Announcement of results through college website.
  16. Printing and Issue of the Grade Sheet(containing marks and grade letter) to students in each Semester.
  17. Revaluation of answer scripts (on the request /application of the students ).
  18. Conducting  the Instant Examination to the eligible students (For UG only).
  19. Preparation and Issue of Consolidated Grade Memorandum to passed out students.
  20.  Preparation and Issue of Provisional Pass Certificates (with counter signature of the COE of affiliated University) to  students.
  21. Submission of all data to the University for the Award of Original Degrees by the affiliating University.
  22. Maintenance of Tabulated Marks Register (TR’s) semester wise and Over all.
  23. Maintenance of Cash Book, Resolution book and Accounts book of the Examinations cell.
  24. Protecting Mid and SEE valuated Answer booklets up to five years.
  25. Prepare the list of students for awarding Gold medal, endowment, cash and proficiency prizes by the philanthropists and the college.
  26. Preparing the list of students eligible for condonation fee.
